39 years ago was a very important day for the Nelson family... the wedding of my parents--Alan and Audrey!
Nearly four decades later and still so in love... what an amazing example! Happy Anniversary! What could be better to mark the occasion than a little John Denver. (As my mom would say "John Denver, my very favorite!") Now, don't go getting all teary eyed at the sight of John Deutschedorf (his real name) alive in this video with Placido** Domingo circa 1980.
** For the record, when we were little we hated it when she played this song... and we called him "Pathetic Placido", (said with a lisp--we were strange little children)
